Maca Oats With Wild Blueberries

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Cup oats
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 tablespoon Shop Karen Berrios Maca Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon of maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Optional toppings:

  • 1/4 cup plantbased milk
  • Vegan vanilla yogurt
  • Hemp hearts
  • Almond slivers

 

Method:

  1. Put blueberries in a sauce pan and heat over medium until they get syrupy, about five minutes.
  2. Boil water stove top and pour over oats, or add both to a microwave safe bowl and heat for two minutes.
  3. When the oatmeal is ready, stir in Maca powder, maple syrup, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Pour milk over it if desired, and top with berries, hemp hearts, yogurt, nuts, whatever you prefer.
