CACAO & LUCUMA HALLOWEEN SPIDER COOKIES🎃... HEALTHY TREATS!
- 1/2 cup oatmeal flour
- 1/4 cup Karen Berrios Lucuma Powder
- 2 tablespoons apple sauce (blend 1 apple)
- 1/4 cup honey or organic coconut sugar
- 1/4 cup raw butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1/3 cup Karen Berrios Cacao Powder
- Honey to taste
- 1/3 cup dark chocolate (for legs)
- Chopped almonds (for eyes)
In a food processor, mix oatmeal flour, salt, baking soda and lucuma powder.
In another bowl, mix raw butter, apple sauce and honey.
Combine dry and wet ingredients.
Preheat the oven to 350 °F.
Get your cookie sheet ready, placing parchment paper on top.
Take 1 heaping teaspoon out of dough and mold it into little ball with both hands. Place ball on the cookie sheet and lightly press it down to about 2 inches in diameter, and so on.
Bake for 10 minutes.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool.
Mix peanut butter and cacao powder, and if you prefer honey too.
Then proceed to form small ball shaped bites and place in freezer to set.
Melt chocolate and pipe a dot on the cookies and affix the peanut butter balls. Then, pipe the legs and add chopped almonds like eyes gluing them on with chocolate.
